Course overview
You will learn how to identify the nature of diversity in the working environment and the the positive consequences of diversity in the working environment. You will learn how to deal with diverse individuals and groups and with disagreements and conflict arising from diversity amongst individuals and groups.
How you will be assessed
This programme has been aligned to registered unit standards. You will be assessed against the outcomes of the unit standards by completing a knowledge assignment that covers the essential embedded knowledge stipulated in the unit standards. When you are assessed as competent against the unit standards, you will receive a certificate of competence and be awarded 6 credits towards a National Qualification.
You will complete assignments as well as a Portfolio of Evidence as part of your formative and summative assessments.
Requirements
The programme methodology includes facilitator presentations, readings, individual activities, classroom discussions, and skill application exercises online. You will need internet connection to access your course lessons from your smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
